E36 Rear Sway Bar Tab Reinforcements

Sway Bar Reinforcements for the 92-99 E36 BMW.

The factory E36 Sway Bar Mounts don't hold up well once you upgrade to a stiffer rear sway bar.  Sometimes the mounting tabs will begin to fail even with the OEM sway bar.  They eventually crack at the base of the mounting ear.  Fortunately, it's an easy fix and the parts are inexpensive to buy.  There are several versions of these reinforcements on the market and they are all pretty close in design.

After purchasing a set of sway bar mount reinforcements from another vendor and going about installing them, we decided that with a few changes and adding a small piece to the system, we could make a better fitting and more robust reinforcement.  The small piece on the bottom helps greatly to stiffen the mount by boxing in the bottom of the sway bar tab.
